Remember what mom used to say: Wash your face with a mild soap and rinse it well, avoid fatty and fried foods, drink lots of water and eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Hormones cause your body to release extra oils, and this is one of the causes of your acne. Eating fresh foods and drinking water help to detoxify your body, which stops acne from occurring.

Exercise regularly. Not only will this increase your circulation and clear up your acne, but it also will be especially beneficial when the time comes for labor and birth.

Apply a clay mask once a week if your skin is oily. Clay is a natural product that absorbs oil and draws it from your pores. Leave the mask on for half an hour, then rinse well. Follow with an oil-free moisturizer.

Step 4

Apply tea tree oil or aloe vera juice to the pimple, using a cotton swab. Both of these herbal remedies will help clear up your skin. A mixture of equal parts of lemon juice and rose water is also beneficial.

Step 5

Prepare a mask from the pulp of a ripe tomato or make a paste from a peeled cucumber. Apply to your face and relax for 15 minutes, then rinse off.
