You can make it from the ingredients you already have at home
Youve probably noticed that the market has more and more shampoo for dry hair wash. Maybe you have tried some of them. And did you know that some experts even argue that the occasional use of dry wash shampoo is much healthier than the ordinary shampoo that removes the hairs natural oils?
Anyway dry shampoos are gaining in popularity, but what if you had just run out? Or you just want it to be completely natural
Dry shampoos can be made very easy and you can make yourself one at home. Read all about it!
- Baby Powder
Baby powder is probably the most popular alternative to buying dry shampoos. Some use it alone, and some add a little baking soda (ratio of at least 5: 1, because the soda can dry out your hair).
The ingredient that most of us have at home and it serves as an excellent dry shampoo. Starch will absorb all the dirt and grease from your hair.
Blonde you do not need to add anything to the starch. Just rub it well into the scalp, leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, then just comb your hair.
Brunettes add some cocoa powder to the starch. Adjust the ratio to your own hair. If it is darker add more cocoa. You can even leave out the starch and only use cocoa.
Redheads Replace the cocoa with cinnamon. The ratio should be 1: 1 cinnamon and starch.
- Salt and maize flour
Mix one tablespoon of fine salt with half a cup of corn flour. Mix well and your shampoo for dry cleaning is ready!
- Oatmeal and baking soda
Mix one cup of finely ground oatmeal with two tablespoons of baking soda.
- Cooking gauze
Wrap a cooking gauze around a wide thick hair brush. Now just brush your hair nicely. The gauze will remove dirt and grease from your hair.
How to use your dry shampoo?
Your hair should be completely dry. Otherwise you will get your hair full of lumps. Before applying the shampoo brush your hair. Apply the chosen powder on the greasiest place of your scalp and rub it well into the scalp with your fingers. If desired, you can also gently comb to distribute the powder over the entire length of the hair.
Leave your dry shampoo to work for 5 to 10 minutes. If you have a greasy hair make it 15 minutes. After that shake off the powder out of your hair and give brush it nicely.
